Psychiatric Nursing

Psychiatric nursing, also known as mental health nursing, focuses on mental health disorders in people of all ages. Schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, anxiety disorder, eating disorder, personality disorder, psychosis, suicidal thoughts, and so on are examples. Nurses in this field should receive specialised training in psychological therapies. Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICUs), Acute Medical Units (AMUs), and Community Mental Health Services are all places where mental health nurses can work (CMHS).
