On behalf of Conference Series LLC Ltd and the Organizing Committee Members of the Psychology Series Conferences, it is our pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the webinar "6th International Conference on Clinical Psychology and Depression" (Clinical Psychology 2023). On August 28-29,2023, The Conference Series LLC Ltd will host a gathering for Psychology and Psychiatry specialists. The meeting's theme this year is "Clutching the Characteristic in Clinical Psychology and Mental Health," and it will provide an international forum for discussion of current and future challenges, clinical trials, recent innovations in psychology and psychiatry, continuing education, and expertise meeting. Leading healthcare practitioners, clinicians, educators, and researchers from around the world will present cutting-edge and practical clinical techniques based on widely accepted evidence, as well as new and emerging research.

Why to attend?

Clinical Psychology, as we all know, is concerned with the treatment and evaluation of mental illness, abnormal behaviour, and psychiatric problems. As a result, the Clinical Psychology Conference serves as an important platform for interaction among various scholars and practitioners in psychology and psychiatry. This conference aims to promote healthy scientific debate among participants. The Clinical Psychology Congress provides a platform for globalising research by establishing dialogue between industries and academic organisations, knowledge transfer from research to industry, and focusing attention on new treatment strategies. Sessions or Tracks

TRACK 1: Clinical Psychology

Clinical psychology is the branch of psychology that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses, abnormal behaviour, and psychiatric problems. Clinical psychology is a broad field of psychology concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioural disorders. Learning disabilities, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders are some of the more common disorders that may be treated.

TRACK 2: Mental Health

Mental health covers our psychological, emotional, and social well-being....everywhere, and it has a direct impact on how we feel, think, and act. It also influences how we make decisions, deal with stress, and interact with others. Its impact is felt at every stage of life, from childhood to adolescence to adulthood. When someone suffers from mental health issues, their entire coordination is disrupted, including their thinking ability, mood, behaviour, relationships, and even physical health. A strong mental health is essential for balancing their activities and efforts, as well as achieving psychological resilience to enjoy their lives.

TRACK 3: Behavioural Psychology

It is another branch of psychology that deals with observing others' behaviour and influencing their thoughts and actions. This subbranches represents the links between minds and behaviour. Behavioural psychology is also known as behaviourism at times. The scientists and researchers who are involved in studying behavioural psychology are attempting to understand why someone behaves in relation to others' actions and behaviours in the hope of predicting how someone will behave and thus aiding in the development of better habits as individuals and better living spaces as communities.

TRACK 4: Clinical Neuropsychology

It is a professional clinical psychology speciality that focuses on applying scientific principles, assessments, and interventions to human behaviour and the normal or abnormal functioning of the central nervous system. Clinical neuropsychologists address nervous system developmental disorders and use their specialised knowledge in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with these neurodevelopmental disorders. Pediatric neuropsychologists treat children and adolescents with specialised clinical services.

TRACK 5: Psychological Disorder

A psychological disorder, also known as a mental disorder, is a collection of behavioural and psychological symptoms that cause an individual distress. The first problem for psychologists is determining whether or not the person has a psychological disorder or is unhealthy, and determining what is normal and what is abnormal. If someone considers something that is outside of statistical norms to be abnormal, a problem arises for those who are considered exceptionally talented or talented in a specific area. Instead of focusing on actions that are considered outside of normal statistics, psychologists tend to focus on the outcomes of those behaviours. Many psychologists now agree that these disorders are characterised by personal distress and impairment in a variety of areas of life.

TRACK 6: Humanistic Psychology

Humanistic psychology is a psychological movement that believes that humans are unique as individuals. Humanistic principles were put into practise during the 1960's "human potential" movement. The humanist is concerned with total growth of the individual in areas such as love, fulfilment, and self-worth.

TRACK 7: Factors Affecting Psychological Disorders

Although the exact cause of mental illness is unknown, research is revealing that there are numerous factors that, when combined, cause psychological disorder. These elements are analogous to biological, psychological, and environmental factors. Some mental illnesses are associated with abnormal behaviour of nerve cells within brain circuits that communicate via chemicals known as neurotransmitters. By modifying those chemicals through medications, psychotherapy, or other medical procedures, brain circuits can be made to run more efficiently.

TRACK 8: Child and Adolescent Psychology

Child and adolescent psychology is a branch of psychology in which researchers attempt to understand and describe the changes that occur as children grow. It is a skilled psychological science that deals with the application of logical learning in the delivery of mental administration to newborns, children, and teenagers.

TRACK 9: Abnormal Psychology

Abnormal psychology is a branch of psychology that covers a wide range of disarrangements, from wretchedness to fanatical enthusiastic problem-solving. As part of abnormal psychology, various alternative points of view are employed. While few psychologists may focus on a single point of view. Psychological experts use components from various fields to improve understanding and treatment of mental disorders.

TRACK 10: Developmental Psychology

It is the scientific study of how and why people change throughout their lives. It began with infants and children and has since expanded to include adolescence, adult development, and ageing. Professional developmental psychologists attempt to explain how thinking, feeling, and behavioural changes occur over the course of a lifetime. This field looks at three major aspects: physical development, cognitive development, and socioemotional development. Motor skills, executive functions, moral understanding, language acquisition, emotion development, and identity formation are all included in these three major dimensions.

TRACK 11: Positive Psychology

It is an investigation into bliss. Psychology is generally concerned with brokenness, individuals suffering from psychological instability, or other issues, and their treatment. Positive psychology is concerned with logically considering the positive aspects of life. It is a field that investigates how the average person can become more joyful and satisfied.

TRACK 12: Occupational Pyschology

It is related to an individual's behaviour at work. It makes use of the link between social psychology and misfortune inclination, security, evaluation, individual relations and clashes, worker determination and preparation, weakness, and psychological wellness. It also includes administration and control frameworks, as well as communication between people, machines, and the earth.

TRACK 13: Social Psychology

This is related to comprehending individual behaviour in social situations. It is the study of the factors that influence an individual's behaviour in the presence of others, such as thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Self-concept, social cognition, attribution therapy, group processes, social influence, interpersonal processes, aggression, prejudice and discrimination, attitudes and stereotypes are some of the major topics studied in social psychology.

TRACK 14: Psychiatric Nursing

Psychiatric nursing, also known as mental health nursing, focuses on mental health disorders in people of all ages. Schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, anxiety disorder, eating disorder, personality disorder, psychosis, suicidal thoughts, and so on are examples. Nurses in this field should receive specialised training in psychological therapies. Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICUs), Acute Medical Units (AMUs), and Community Mental Health Services are all places where mental health nurses can work (CMHS).

TRACK 15: Emotional Regulation Therapy

Emotional regulation refers to all of the factors that people use to influence how intense their emotions are, how long they last, and how they express themselves. The ability to calm oneself after experiencing intense emotions is a critical aspect of emotional regulation. Individuals who have difficulty regulating their emotions are extremely sensitive to emotional triggers in their environment and have difficulty returning to their baseline emotional state.

TRACK 16: Creative Thinking

Creative thinking is one of many thought processes that humans have while in a cognitive state. It is also known as divergent thinking and is the ability to find imaginative and unconventional solutions to problems encountered in daily life. In today's society, those who distinguish themselves creatively from others are more likely to succeed. The cognitive ability to work smart is enhanced by creative thinking.

TRACK 17: e-Therapy and e-Counselling

e-Therapy, e-Counselling, also known as e-guiding, online counseling, tele-therapy, or digital advising, is an important aspect of professional psychology in which a specialist provides mental exhortation and support for emotional well-being improvement via the internet. This can be accomplished via email, online visit, video conferencing, or web phone.

TRACK 18: Computational Approach Psychology

It is a field that straddles the line between artificial intelligence and psychology. It is concerned with developing computer models of human cognitive processes and is based on a comparison of the human mind, brain, and computer programme. A prime example is simulation modelling, which is the development of a computer programme used to stimulate human behaviour. Emergentist models, Production models, Bayesian models, and Neuromorphic models are examples of other models.

TRACK 19: Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness

Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness provide a space to correctly align your body, lengthening and toning muscles that support long-term health. When combined with breathing, the body can finally relax and release stress. Mindfulness meditation encourages practitioners to pay attention to their thoughts as they pass through their minds. The goal is not to become involved with or judge the thoughts, but simply to be aware of each mental note as it arises.

TRACK 20: Advanced Therapeutic Approaches

Biomedical therapy employs medical intervention, most commonly prescription medication. Psychotherapy has been found to be very effective and is used by mental health professionals who have received training in psychological therapeutic approaches. Clinical and counselling psychologists have completed extensive post-graduate training in therapeutic approaches to treating mental disorders. These mental health counsellors may specialise in different areas, but they are all aware of the therapeutic approaches discussed in this lesson and which situations they work best in.
